So you are applying for internships and cannot seem to land one. Maybe you are not applying to enough or maybe you have applied to so many that you are getting frustrated and don’t understand why companies don’t seem to be hiring you as an intern. You are at the same time trying to balance your university studies and life outside of university.

I completely understand that it’s difficult. As they say, anything worth doing is going to be difficult. Looking at it from a company standpoint, it is difficult to judge whether someone is going to be successful as an intern because you don’t really have any professional experience… or I’m assuming as much at this stage of your career. A company is likely to look at a few things in this case:
