Open source Pixie uses eBPF to collect data from all layers of the stack — application, infrastructure and kernel layers — and pairs it with Kubernetes metadata to help pinpoint any performance issues within a cluster. Core to the developer experience is the ability to access and analyze the data using community-built, open source scripts or through an existing observability tool. The promise for developers is the ability to access actionable application performance data with a single CLI command.
