As we were told by our instructors that we’ll be using Git and Github on a daily basis for the next 19 weeks, I knew I had to learn the concepts fast. But as I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, for someone with absolutely ZERO computer background, even simple terms like ‘repo’, ‘clone’, ‘commit’, ‘log’, ‘remote’ or ‘local’ all seemed so confusing and out of context. 😕(local restaurant? local what?) And I’m the type of person who learns best with visuals and those explanations-you-would-give-to-a-five-year-old until the concept solidifies in my head.
