What is RaceFi ($RACEFI)?

The first car racing game on the Solana blockchain.

RACEFI is a play-to-earn car racing game where players and participants own parts of the game. Players can earn by playing interacting within the game. All ownable parts of the game are in the form of verifiably owned NFTs.

RaceFi is the first AI/ML integrated car racing game on Solana ecosystem. Within RaceFi's metaverse, players can earn while enjoying various game modes to satisfy the thirst for speed, or make a profit by controlling in-game property and interacting with our ecosystem players. The two main game features are Pure Race and Battle Race. Pure Race includes two game modes: PvP and PvE. In PvE mode, the players will directly drive and control the car, whereas in PvP mode the players will customize their strategic statistics and then the AI system will analyze the result of the race. In terms of Battle Race, the players must upgrade their cars with battle features such as guns and shields. There will be no time limit or no finish line, the players will continue to race and attack each other until there is only one survivor left, and that car will become the winner of the battle race.

The native platform currency of the game is the $RACEFI, used for all in-game activities. Players will be able to race for free about two times per day, depending on the race class.

To race, players buy gas at a gas station and then enter the race. The total of all the gas bought per race makes up the reward pool. First place wins 50% of the reward pool, second and third place split the second half of the pool. Winnings are paid out in $RACEFRACEFI Tokens.

When entering a race, players are presented with the Race Conditions. With this in mind, players select from several options that form their Race Strategy to compete in the race. The race then runs automatically based on the algorithm in the background. Results of the race are determined primarily by how well each racer's Race Strategy played out, and secondarily by a weighted random algorithm. Cars with higher XP and upgrades have an advantage in the race.

Ownable parts of the game include: Cars, Gas Stations, Mechanic Shops, Racetrack Land, Analytics Center and Billboard Land.

Metaverse operating model

Due to the advancements in blockchain gaming, the Metaverse is becoming increasingly popular. The RaceFi team has gone a long way in building the metaverse with endless revenue potential that can satisfy many different sorts of users, from idea to product development. Players desire to have control over and engage with their in-game assets, which they can then use to monetise their gaming experience. Play-to-earn models are now available to gamers all around the world thanks to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. With a metaverse, the possibilities are endless: socialize, explore, play games, and make money!

The team is dedicated to creating the NFT metaverse gaming ecology and intends to establish an economic system that involves possible revenue prospects for participants in the future.

GAME PLAY

  • ​​​Pure Race:

For PvE mode, players will drive and control the car to overcome challenges along the road within the limited time to win the prize of $RCOIN and experience points. For PvP mode, to ensure fairness and reduce the undesired effects of real-life environment on the game, the race will run in background.

  • ​​​Battle Race:

Players must upgrade their cars with battle add-ons such as guns, shields, and powerful fuel of nitrogen to be eligible for battle mode. Each match will have a maximum of 8 racers. There will be no limited time or finish line, the players continue to attack and compete with each other until there is only one victory car remain.

  • ​​​​​​Tournament:

We will collaborate with the Council of Players to organize annual tournaments in spring and summer. The players will join the racing team and winners of the tournaments will be rewarded with valuable prizes.

  • ​​​Leaderboard:

We will reward players who have a high rank on the leaderboard every quarter as an incentive and express our appreciation towards our top players.

GAMEASSETS

  • Racetrack Land & Track List:

Each racetrack is divided into 100-150 land plots. Owners of racetrack land earn race fees each time a race happens. The earnings for the racetrack are divided evenly among the land plot owners on a track-by-track basis.

  • Cars:

Cars are the core asset of the game, as they are required to participate in the race. Players buy cars from the marketplace or get them from the airdrop.

  • Land:

A LAND is a property of real-estate in-game. Each LAND is a unique, non-fungible token on the Solana blockchain.

  • Gas Station:

To enter a race, racers must stop at a Gas Station and buy fuel.

  • Garage:

The rarest asset in the game. Racers must bring their cars to the Garage to repair after the race or rebuild (decan, change color...)

  • Billboard Land:

Billboard Land is a way to advertise to racers during the game.

The native cryptographically-secured fungible protocol token of RaceFi (ticker symbol $RACEFI) is a transferable representation of attributed governance and utility functions specified in the protocol/code of RaceFi, and which is designed to be used solely as an interoperable utility token thereon.

$RACEFI is a functional multi-utility token which will be used as the medium of exchange between participants on RaceFi in a decentralised manner. The goal of introducing $RACEFI is to provide a convenient and secure mode of payment and settlement between participants who interact within the ecosystem on RaceFi without any intermediaries such as centralised third party entity/institution/credit. It is not, and not intended to be, a medium of exchange accepted by the public (or a section of the public) as payment for goods or services or for the discharge of a debt; nor is it designed or intended to be used by any person as payment for any goods or services whatsoever that are not exclusively provided by the issuer. $RACEFI does not in any way represent any shareholding, participation, right, title, or interest in the Company, the Distributor, their respective affiliates, or any other company, enterprise or undertaking, nor will $RACEFI entitle token holders to any promise of fees, dividends, revenue, profits or investment returns, and are not intended to constitute securities in Vietnam, Singapore or any relevant jurisdiction. $RACEFI may only be utilised on RaceFi, and ownership of $RACEFI carries no rights, express or implied, other than the right to use $RACEFI as a means to enable usage of and interaction within RaceFi.

$RACEFI also provides the economic incentives which will be distributed to encourage users to exert efforts towards contribution and participation in the ecosystem on RaceFi, thereby creating a mutually beneficial system where every participant is fairly compensated for its efforts. $RACEFI is an integral and indispensable part of RaceFi, because without $RACEFI, there would be no incentive for users to expend resources to participate in activities or provide services for the benefit of the entire ecosystem on RaceFi. Given that additional $RACEFI will be awarded to a user based only on its actual usage, activity and efforts made on RaceFi and/or proportionate to the frequency and volume of transactions, users of RaceFi and/or holders of $RACEFI which did not actively participate will not receive any $RACEFI incentives.

It allows players to buy game assets, game consumables (e.g. gas), stake to participate in certain exclusive events or in-game benefits, and participate in Racetrack auctions. All prices in the game will be quoted in $USD. This will allow players to focus on the game and not worry about potential fluctuations in the price of $RACEFI.

Token Flow

The RACEFI token is designed to flow in and out of the game and the community. Players buy the token in order to play the game and buy game assets. Players also win the token as a reward when they win races in the game. Eventually, the intention is for all game asset drops to be purchased in RACEFI tokens. This will happen after the token is relatively easy to acquire and sell on a decentralized exchange.

The RACEFI token and its use in the game is designed to promote the use of the token and how that results in increased use of the game and its assets. The more the game is played, the greater the demand for game assets which further encourages players to play the game more and buy more game assets. This creates a healthy circulation for ecosystem token usage.

Special attention was made to ensure the token had as much balance as possible between the inflow and outflow. The desired outcome here is that there is not more demand to buy the token than to sell it, or vice versa.

The ecosystem was designed to have demand to purchase the token in order for it to be used to buy game assets and upgrades. Rewards in the game can be increased or decreased to change the supply of the token that is being sold. Players are incentivized to hold the token in order to use it to buy game assets or upgrades.

Other incentives were designed to encourage players to participate in the ecosystem. For example, there is the Council of Racers, a DAO like system that allows holders of the token to influence decisions made about the game. This allows players to have a say in the future of the game and how it operates. The larger amount of tokens held, the larger amount of influence the player has, as one token equals one vote.

The goal is to build a system that leads to a steady increase in new players coming into the game (Race Strategy) and incentivizes current players to continue playing the game and interacting in the ecosystem.

Features

Excluding tokens from the tokeniser

You can exclude anything you want from the input by passing the exclude option. The exclude option accepts a variety of filters and is extremely flexible.

  1. A space-delimited string. The filter will normalise the string.
  2. A regular expression.
  3. A lambda.
  4. A symbol that names a predicate method. For example :odd?.
  5. An array of any combination of the above.

Passing in a custom regexp

The default regexp accounts for letters, hyphenated tokens, and apostrophes. This means twenty-one is treated as one token. So is Mohamad's.

/[\p{Alpha}\-']+/

You can pass your own criteria as a Ruby regular expression to split your string as desired.

For example, if you wanted to include numbers, you can override the regular expression:

Opening and reading files

Use the from_file method to open files. from_file accepts the same options as .count. The file path can be a URL.

Gotchas

A hyphen used in leu of an em or en dash will form part of the token. This affects the tokeniser algorithm.

In this example -you and you are separate tokens. Also, the tokeniser does not include numbers by default. Remember that you can pass your own regular expression if the default behaviour does not fit your needs.

A note on case sensitivity

The program will normalise (downcase) all incoming strings for consistency and filters.

Passing in a custom regexp

The default regexp accounts for letters, hyphenated tokens, and apostrophes. This means twenty-one is treated as one token. So is Mohamad's.

/[\p{Alpha}\-']+/

You can pass your own criteria as a Ruby regular expression to split your string as desired.

For example, if you wanted to include numbers, you can override the regular expression:

counter = WordsCounted.count("Numbers 1, 2, and 3", pattern: /[\p{Alnum}\-']+/)
counter.tokens
#=> ["numbers", "1", "2", "and", "3"]

Opening and reading files

Use the from_file method to open files. from_file accepts the same options as .count. The file path can be a URL.

counter = WordsCounted.from_file("url/or/path/to/file.text")

Gotchas

A hyphen used in leu of an em or en dash will form part of the token. This affects the tokeniser algorithm.

In this example -you and you are separate tokens. Also, the tokeniser does not include numbers by default. Remember that you can pass your own regular expression if the default behaviour does not fit your needs.

A note on case sensitivity

The program will normalise (downcase) all incoming strings for consistency and filters.
