Whenever you pass a data object into a function you won’t be able to autocomplete the object properties. The object might be complex, located in a different file, or coming from an API.

TypeScript will force you to write a type definition to avoid implicit any on the function parameter.

Once we give it the appropriate type we get autocompletion.

Very useful! I imported the data from another file, but I don’t have to open the file to see the data shape because I wrote a type definition.
