Install Docker on Ubuntu and CentOS

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to install Docker on Ubuntu and CentOS. Installation is very straightforward and easy too. Docker won’t run on all OS versions of Ubuntu and CentOS. Docker expects 64-bit OS. You have to check your OS version before installing Docker. I listed both Ubuntu and CentOS version which is compatible with the Docker.

Install Docker On Ubuntu:

1. Prerequisite:

You need the 64-bit version of Ubuntu to install Docker Engine. Following are the Docker-supported Ubuntu versions.

  3. Ubuntu Focal 20.04 (LTS)
