Microsoft Authenticator Not Working

I got another account with administrator privileges that can reset MFA options from within Microsoft Azure AD.

Configured an alternative second element option-Example: Recovery mobile number or email address.

Or you can use Microsoft's personal account to back up and recover the Authenticator app.

Reset MFA for a user from Azure AD

Finding the "button" and pressing it is not easy because it is hidden in Azure AD. First log in to Azure and Azure AD
After entering Azure AD, select the "Users" button in the left navigation:
Don't be fooled by the "Multi-factor authentication" link in the upper right corner, this will take you to the user list and their current MFA configuration-whether multiple identities are disabled, enabled or enforced-and allow you to make changes to these settings.

Instead, select the users for whom you want to reset MFA-select them instead of checking the box to their left. This will take you to the configuration pane for that particular user.
Now select "Authentication Method" in the left navigation:
This page allows you to reset the user’s password and "re-register for MFA"-after clicking this page, you can try to log in to https://portal.office.com again, and they will be prompted after the user enters their username and password Set up MFA again, and you can use the Microsoft Authenticator app to do this.
