Hasura GraphQL Engine – Multi Environment Setup with Docker [2021]

In this advanced video tutorial we will cover some advanced things like multi environment support in #Hasura GraphQL. Why would we need it? Imagine you work on your project with a team. Definitely every developer wants to have its own Firebase project instance, its own passwords for Hasura Console and so on… If we hard code links and passwords in our files it will bring 2 big issues:

  1. Every time you pull your changes from GIT your application will be broken because your colleague might override Hasura Action or Events endpoints which might be differ for you.
  2. Hardcoded sensitive information like passwords or WEB API Tokens will end up in Git which is a huge security violation.
  3. You will not be able to deploy your Project in CI/CD pipelines to the different environments like Development, Staging or Production on Hasura Cloud.

From this video you will know how to properly set up & configure your Hasura project in order to avoid mentioned above issues. Also if you want to become a master in Hasura #GraphQL Engine I would highly recommend my complete video course.
