5 Google Analytics Tips for Web Developers

At work, I’d been quite stressed out when I was asked to work on Google Analytics because I had zero background knowledge of it. I was like “What the heck is this?” I spent quite a lot of time to figure out how this works and what I should do to let other works see the logs on a dashboard. I hope this will help whoever doesn’t know about GA or is currently suffering.

The tracking ID is always revealed.

In the Property Settings section on the Settings menu, you can check your view’s tracking ID starting with UA, which is Universal Analytics. And you would insert the JavaScript code in the head tag. Then you can find your ID on the website.

You might have been worried about what if somebody takes your ID away and abuses it to do something bad to your website.
