Intel Announces 11th Gen Core Processor Enhanced for IoT

Manufactured on Intel's 10nm SuperFin process, which has improved transistor gates to optimise power performance, the 11th generation Core CPU provides better power efficiency and a range of frequencies achievable on compact laptops.

At the recently held Industrial Summit, Intel announced new products enhanced for IoT — 11th Gen Intel Core processors, Intel Atom x6000E series, Intel Pentium, Celeron N and J series processors. The newly announced products offer AI security, functional safety and edge applications aimed at fast developing innovations in the IoT ecosystem. Further, Intel also announced Intel Edge Software Hub, a scalable software development platform designed for case-specific packages.

The 11th generation core is built on the recently announced client processor, code-named ‘Tiger Lake’, and is enhanced for IoT applications, which require high-speed processing and computer vision.
