After finishing the story, you will be good to automate the whole process of google search using Python.
For this, we will take help from a Python library called Google Search. It is free, simple and pretty straight forward to use. To install the library, go to your command prompt or Anaconda prompt and type:
pip install google
After installing the google, just import the search module from google-search

Searching for an element’s presence in a list is usually done using linear search and binary search. Linear search is time-consuming and memory expensive but is the simplest way to search for an element. On the other hand, Binary search is effective mainly due to the reduction of list dimension with each recursive function call or iteration. A practical implementation of binary search is autocompletion.
The objective of this project is to create a simple python program to implement binary search. It can be implemented in two ways: recursive (function calls) and iterative.
The project uses loops and functions to implement the search function. Hence good knowledge of python loops and function calls is sufficient to understand the code flow.

In this post, we will show how we can use Python to get data from Google Trends. Let’s have a look at the top trending searches for today in the US (14th of March, 2020). As we can see, the top search is about Coronavirus tips with more than 2M searches, and at the 7th position is Rick Pitino with around 100K searches.
We will use the pytrends package which is an unofficial API for Google Trends which allows a simple interface for automating downloading of reports from Google Trends. The main feature is to allow the script to login to Google on your behalf to enable a higher rate limit. At this point, I want to mention that I couldn’t use this package and I created a new anaconda environment installing the pandas 0.25 version.
You can install the pytrends package with pip:
pip install pytrends

Magic Methods are the special methods which gives us the ability to access built in syntactical features such as ‘<’, ‘>’, ‘==’, ‘+’ etc…
You must have worked with such methods without knowing them to be as magic methods. Magic methods can be identified with their names which start with __ and ends with __ like init, call, str etc. These methods are also called Dunder Methods, because of their name starting and ending with Double Underscore (Dunder).
Now there are a number of such special methods, which you might have come across too, in Python. We will just be taking an example of a few of them to understand how they work and how we can use them.
class AnyClass:
def __init__():
print("Init called on its own")
obj = AnyClass()
The first example is _init, _and as the name suggests, it is used for initializing objects. Init method is called on its own, ie. whenever an object is created for the class, the init method is called on its own.
The output of the above code will be given below. Note how we did not call the init method and it got invoked as we created an object for class AnyClass.

Let’s move to some other example, add gives us the ability to access the built in syntax feature of the character +. Let’s see how,
