In this video, we will learn how we can create our own Async Await using Generators and a third-party package called Pify. This is an exercise video where we will use all the concepts that we had discussed in the previous video of Generators and the steps that I showed you while explaining the code for generators. In essence, in this video we will learn:

  1. How to make use of Generator Functions and Yield keyword to create our own async-await
  2. How to promisify callback functions using the Pify package. We will promisify the fs.readFile function of Node.js
  3. How to make an HTTP request to a remote server in the Node.js Environment using a third-party package called as node-fetch.
  4. We will also write simple asynchronous operations to check how the code works.
