Data science basics: To properly comprehend the essence of Data Science, it is important to explore the fundamental concepts and principles before jumping on the bandwagon.
Probability and statistics: In the field of data science, statistics is a potent tool that executes technical data analysis to provide clear findings. Statistics is an age-old, essential idea.
Programming: Since it is the only way to connect with machines, programming is a crucial talent to possess. You can learn any of these: Julia, Python, R, etc.
Data Manipulation: comprises cleansing and transformation into a more suitable format for analysis
Data analysis is the process of fully comprehending the data, and it often calls for expertise in Excel, SQL, Pandas in Python, etc.
Data visualization: You need to be comfortable with a variety of plots and charts, such as pie charts, waterfall charts, histograms, bar charts, etc. A tableau is a fantastic tool for displaying data.
Machine Learning is another fundamental ability in data science, which is used to create accurate and error-free predictive models. Data modeling, distributed computing, machine learning algorithms for data science, and other concepts are well understood by machine learning experts.
Deep Learning Working with deep learning requires a solid understanding of mathematics, linear algebra, and programming (ideally Python). Additionally, you must be familiar with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
Big Data: Organizations are attempting to deal with data by using Big Data Analytics, and in this field, frameworks and tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Apache Storm, and Flink are necessary.
You don't have to be a software engineer to understand the fundamentals of the field, but having a basic understanding of concepts like the lifecycle of software development projects, compilers, time-space complexity, data types, etc., is helpful.
That was a brief overview on how to learn data science free and access various data science free courses.
