Learning Python profoundly changed my trajectory and taught me numerous lessons. But behind all of this stood a simple insight: Focus on what’s in your control. One can generate lots of value with small, zero-budget projects by standing on the shoulders of (open-source) giants. Larger assignments will come naturally.
