Detecting fraud in college application in an interesting problem to solve.

Answering this question requires lots of domain expertize because every fraud technique is different so same patters wont work with different fraud.

First thing we need to understand here interviewer is not trying to ask you which model you will you, which metric you will use to evaluate. He simply wants you to see how you deal with a problem.

So first thing we can assume or we can ask the interviewer what college it is, you can mark your cities, towns, is there any past committee which handles these fraud cases.
