Why Face Mask Detection?

As mentioned in Part 1 of the series, the objective of this project is to develop a _feedback system for the blind to help them maintain the social distance with the people around using the OAK-D _(by the way, congratulations to Luxonis LLC and Satya Mallick for the** successful Kickstarter campaign!**). In this article, I will focus on the detection of the people around using Deep Learning models in order to keep the distance to those people.
