The Covid pandemic made it challenging for customers to make year-long or multi-year commitments when procuring software licenses. In response, we launched pay-as-you-go billing through the Google Cloud Marketplace to make it easier for customers who want the benefits of procuring services from the Marketplace with the added flexibility of paying on-demand. This functionality is enabled through private offers issued by MongoDB in our Marketplace.

Additionally, as organizations across the globe are assessing how to leave their on-premise data centers and modernize their infrastructure by moving to the public cloud, we have made it easier for customers and partners to migrate legacy workloads into MongoDB Atlas on Google Cloud.
