Learning to code is cool. You get to understand how computers work. You start to see that you can learn to speak to them. You gain access to the genie underneath the hood.

Ali is right. With great power comes great responsibility but finding your real power in the first place is a long, tedious, arduous process filled with mistakes and rejection.

You will no doubt make many of your own mistakes on your path to becoming a pro, and that’s a good thing. Making mistakes sucks, I don’t intentionally set out to make mistakes, but learning from them has always made me a better and more productive programmer.
