As I discussed in my previous article about  MySQL setup, while I will set these databases up to create advanced SQL tutorials, I am sharing my experience. The database today is the AWS Microsoft SQL Server offering.

Why Microsoft SQL Server?

SQL Server is a very popular database, particularly from small to mid-size companies. Often you see SQL Server/TSQL freelance jobs posted on guru.com and upwork.com. It is relatively easy to pick up work writing or debugging TSQL queries and stored procedures.

As with MySQL, you can easily set up a Free Tier implementation. Perfect for my smaller use cases.
