Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud platform offered by Amazon is arguably the leading provider of cloud computing. Companies like Netflix, Twitter, Twitch, Dropbox, Airbnb, and many more are using their services, and the range of services provided by AWS is huge!

What is cloud computing?

• Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage (cloud storage) and computing power, without direct active management by the user.
• The term, cloud computing, is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet.
• Nowadays, many companies are moving from an on-premise data center to the cloud, as the cloud has its advantages. So if you are a startup or a company that wants to move from on-premise to cloud, I’ll highly recommend AWS.
