Building your own custom backend solution can be frustrating and intimidating. Thankfully, we have solutions such as SailsMVC to help us bootstrap an entire application ready for production. In today's video, we'll first look at creating an Empty App using Sails. Secondly, with our application running I'll show you how to create custom routes that return JSON data similar to REST apis you'll find on the web.
