What Is Open Source Contribution?

Open source contribution is a worldwide enthusiastic activity for all developers to contribute their ideas and piece of codes to anyone’s open source software project. In this method developers (students and professionals) are contributing their codes to another person’s project as a way of developing those projects and their skills.

There are lots of programmes like Girl script summer of code, Hakincodes, SLOP, Google Summer of Code, Script winter of code, Hacktoberfest etc. were introduced for developers for developing their open source contribution skill and also helpful for building the professional networks.
