I did not find an article which completely showed the full story of how to do this. And, it may be difficult for a newbie to figure this out. When you are in a hurry and don’t have the time to figure out everything, hopefully this can short circuit the process.

Here is how you actually do the “join”:

The thing to remember here is the type of “joined” is actually:

  • There is no other way or form to get this to work, at least at this time.
  • I tried every “other way”. None of them work (at least at the time of this writing).

So, this would be the entity “collecting this data”. Note that you may be unable to convert the IEnumerable to a List within the Select.
