Today, we’re going to step into the world of FutureCSS frontend web development, and take a look at a feature that CSS dev’s have been wanting for a long time: CSS container queries. Container queries are much like media queries, but they’re not based on the viewport width. They’re based on individual element widths, so that you can have more flexible components.

You need to download Google Canary for this to work, and enable the CSS Container Queries option in chrome://flags.
