Learn about 5 software programs that are actually really good and free. I personally use all of these applications on a near daily basis to support my YouTube channel.

We start with Audacity, a free and open-source digital audio editor and recording application software, available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and other Unix-like operating systems.

Next, we look at DaVinci Resolve, a color correction and non-linear video editing (NLE) application for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Third, we look at OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software), is a free and open-source cross-platform streaming and recording program built with Qt and maintained by the OBS Project.

Fourth, we look at VLC media player, a free and open-source, portable, cross-platform media player software and streaming media server developed by the VideoLAN project. The default distribution of VLC includes many free decoding and encoding libraries, avoiding the need for finding/calibrating proprietary plugins.

Lastly, we look at LibreOffice, a free and open-source office productivity software suite, a project of The Document Foundation (TDF).

As a bonus at the end, we look at Paint.net, a freeware raster graphics editor program for Microsoft Windows, developed on the .NET Framework.
