With 33% market share, Amazon AWS continues to lead public cloud adoption in Q2 2020, currently offering 12 certifications, followed by Microsoft Azure with 18% and Google Cloud Platform with 9%.
With more than 175 different services, AWS offers approximately 40 services that other cloud providers do not offer.

How long does it take to become AWS certified?
I will tell you that, in my experience, in a context of full-time work, it will be necessary to invest between 2 and 3 months. That is, invest a total of 80 to 120 hours to prepare well any of the certifications.
As you gain knowledge, many of the certifications share high-level concepts, services, and other details that you will reinforce as you progress along your Learning Path. Start with the fundamentals, and then move to the Solutions Architect — Associate Learning Path.
