Since the start of my data science journey, I have always tried to visualize the importance of mathematics(linear Algebra in this case) in the field of data science. After much of research and content studying I have slowly started to visualize mathematics. This post will try to lay the foundation of mathematics needed in the data science journey.
This story focuses on the linear algebra portion of mathematics
Linear Algebra:- This topic of mathematics deals mostly with matrices and its operations. In data science, we use raw data also in the form of matrices(rows and column). Columns consists of target variable and independent variables whereas rows consists of records or observations.This analogy helps us to use all the mathematical operations to find out appropriate solutions to data science problem.
