Ever wished you could have your voicemail work based on events in your calendar? Are you worried you’ll miss an important call while you’re in a meeting? Do you want to shut your phone down when your business is closed? You can do all of that with Twilio Programmable Voice and Nathaniel is going to show you how to do it in this video!

We’ll use the Google Calendar API to check to see if we’re busy or free. Then we’ll use a Twilio Serverless application to hook up a Twilio phone number to our application. If we’re available, the call will be forwarded to our cell phone. If we’re busy, we’ll record voicemail, transcribe it, and then send ourselves the transcription and a link to the recording. There’s no way to miss a call with this application!
