Let’s look at a project that I submitted for a remote JavaScript developer role. The task was to build a Spotify application. The spec was to connect to the Spotify Api and then pull out the artists based on the user’s search query. The tech I used to build this was React, Styled Components, and I tested the project using React Testing Library. I really enjoyed this project and the straightforward process that I went through when applying for this company–great job to the person who got the job, well deserved! Unfortunately, I wasn’t successful for this company when I applied last year, but it was a fun task!
