What is the most important thing to do after you got your skills to be a data scientist?
Find a job, start a career in Data Science.
I am sure I don’t have to teach anyone to apply online. Everyone knows that.
But for a totally inexperienced data scientist, it can be hard to find that first break. It is even extra hard if you do not have a degree in data science or in a technical field.
In that case, The best thing is to get involved in the data scientist community. Know the people in the industry and let people know that you are one of them. At the same time learn about the technology they are using and understand what you need to do to become a part of the community.
It is especially important if you are a self-taught data scientist or you took a career change track. It will take some work to get involved in the data scientists community.
If you want to get a job or freelance work or start a start-up, you have to get involved and build a community as well. I am going to explain some effective ways in this article. Probably you are already doing some of them. But you may find the motivation to do some more.
