The gap properties comes from grid, where it used to be grid-gap. We’ve dropped the prefix as it migrates over to flexbox, where it’s incredibly useful!

It’s in the technical preview of Safari right now, and once that lands we should actually be able to start using it. But until browser support improves, we can replicate some of it’s basic features with a little bit of clever CSS.
