Target to sell 1 million scooters in first year

The report also states that Ola plans to sell one million e-scooters in the first year itself.

While the first batch of electric scooters will be sourced from the Netherlands, the Indian plant will help meet local demand more efficiently, and will also help the company to be a part of the government’s self-sufficient India campaign. According to reports, Ola is in talks with various state governments to set up the largest e-scooter manufacturing plant in India, which will have an annual capacity of about 2 million units.
