Welcome to the third of three videos on creating a design system in Figma. In this final video, we’ll add buttons, links, icons, and images to our design system.

We’ll be working on a minimalist portfolio WordPress theme in this video. You’ll learn how to develop several aspects of the design system, so that you can implement your own buttons, links, icons, and images. The WordPress theme will eventually be coded, and you’ll be able to download it for free as well.

A Figma design system helps both the designer and the developer of a website. It helps the designer create new pages in the future, making sure everything is consistent, and it also helps the developer by creating an efficient coding process. The design system contains all the colors, the typographic information, sizing and spacing, and more.
