At the beginning of June, I’ve started working on a passive income side project. I’m going to apply the tips and tricks you read on passive income to the design work I already do during the day.

After working on my project for well over 4 weeks it is time to look back for the first time.

My goal is to provide insights to you by sharing my process and the things that I learn along the way. Now, almost one month later, I can look back at how the first weeks have gone. I will reflect on the goals I’ve set in June for the first time and adjust if necessary.

A lot can change after 4 weeks of hard work. It sure has been a lot of fun so far. I’ve started on a few ideas to see if any of those took off. If any of them did, I would focus on that idea.

This is update #2 — first steps

Let’s take a look at what has happened and where I’m planning on going next.

The motivator

In my first post, I stated that my goal was to be able to purchase an iPad Pro that I wanted to use for my design work. This isn’t my main goal of course but it helps me stay focussed. My first goal remains to inform and provide insights into how the development of passive income really works.

Only 4 years to go

With $18,20 of revenue every 4 weeks, it will take me close to 4 years to be able to purchase an iPad Pro. Sounds like a long time but I am sure that I can bring that number down by working hard on this side project.
