Everyone living in southeast Asia already knows about FoodPanda. FoodPanda is a mobile food delivery marketplace owned by Berlin-based company Delivery Hero SE and operates in about 50 countries. It is mostly active in the Asia Pacific, Bulgaria, and Romania. It is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

We are also regular users of this application, as with our current situation with COVID-19 and all the pandemic issues food delivery application was helpful to provide the food in the doorstep with no human touch needed.

But we as testers, we were curious to see what are the full capabilities of the application so we do what we do best we got it STACKED.

Below you will see the issues or bugs we found while only trying to order food through the mobile application.

BUG ## 1 (Occurring on iOS Devices)

Every user usually notices these offers that FoodPanda is offering every week or every month. It is such an amazing offer (as shown in picture A) they have but sadly when one of our testers clicked on one of the offers he got the message pop up in the second image (as shown in picture B).

Issue:

  • The user when clicking the offers he is expected to see another screen showing the list of the restaurants who have this offer applied to. But in our case, we got a pop-up message, which is :

A. It is noticeable that the pop-up message shown is an error message.

B. The navigation to the next screen or window was interrupted due to several possible ways.

Expected Result:

  • New window screen showing the list of restaurants that the offer applies to.

Steps To Recreate:

  1. Open the FoodPanda Application
  2. Login if you are not logged in
  3. The homepage will show like Picture A
  4. Click on the “Shop Malaysia Online” offer
  5. A pop-up message should appear

Actual Result:

  • Pop-up message as shown in Picture B appeared.
