I shall build the project from scratch and walk you through the code explaining everything in the process. This is part 7 of a multi-part series of tutorials on How to Build a Web API and Consume it in ASP.NET Core MVC using SQL Server and ADO.NET. In this tutorial, I shall explain the creation of the ICustomerRepositoryInterface.

The finished project will use client and server-side form validation techniques used in asp.net core by the MVC client. The Web API project will use Serilog for logging errors.
