Learn to create GPT partition using gdisk command on Linux CentOS 8. gdisk is used for partitioning disk with GPT technique which is the modern technique or method for disk partitioning in Linux. GPT overcomes the limitations of MBR method of disk partition.
GPT supports hard disks with large size. Using GPT, we can create up to 128 primary partitions on our disk which is 32 times more than what we can create in MBR partition.
After creating partitions on the disk, we need to format and mount them on our file system.
