What are Security Credentials?

Security credentials are a piece of required sensitive information created by the supplier and sometimes provided by the supplier too in the form of a security token, which can be changed by the user.

The simplest example would be a username and password like the one provided for your default router gateway. However, it is always advised to change the default if you can.

How to isolate Security Credentials?

Isolation of security credentials will provide you more security than you expect; it is one of the best ways of securing data.

Simplest Isolation

Say you have a lot of secure information in a hard drive. You can isolate that hard drive by disconnecting it to the online server and connecting it to a local hard drive; Whenever you need that data, you can transfer it from a secure portal (auditing the data.)
