We all wish we didn’t have to deal with the lifecycle of fragments and activities. Rotations ruin everything.

We think everyone is hoping that with Jetpack Compose we’ll be able to Architect apps basically like Flutter does. By defining composables and navigation graphs that contain composables.

Currently composables cannot maintain state across configuration changes and process death unless by using savedInstanceState. There is also no way to “scope” a viewmodel to a composeable. If you could scope a viewmodel to a composable that would change everything.
