In this article, we’ll discuss information about the Showcase project and SHO token
Showcase is working with a world class team of experts to draft the final version of our Whitepaper, and we will publish updates on that shortly. In the meantime we have been asked by many community members to explain the utility of $SHO. Below is an outline of the main utility for $SHO, although there are several other utility additions including DAO and DeFi integrations that will be included in the Whitepaper.
Our Goal with the $SHO utility is to create a system similar to Twitch subs inside Showcase, called OGs, based on the native token $SHO. $SHO Token holders will have the ability to stake SHO tokens on influencers using the Showcase Staking Dashboard available via website. Token holders who stake $SHO on an influencer will receive Original (“OG”) status, including access to exclusive content created by the influencer, exclusive status in the Showcase App and exclusive access to purchase certain NFT Badges.
Influencers in turn receive periodic rewards of $SHO Tokens, proportionate to the amount of $SHO tokens delegated to them by token holders. The Staking Dashboard is based on an Ethereum smart contract which has access to a Token Reward Pool and contains a registry of token stakers. The Showcase application connects to this registry via API to update OG status in-app.
HOW IT WORKS

Supporters buy your badge, spreading your brand and build your community. Fans truly own your badge and can trade it in the app.
