My DeFi Pet brings traditional game experiences and DeFi features to NFT collectibles. Players can collect, breed/trade monsters, battle and participate in events to claim lucrative prizes up to 100,000 USDT per season. Monster growth is influenced by bonus points obtained from your daily activities (via 3rd party apps API integration, such as health tracking and music streaming apps). The name encompasses three main characteristics:

Collecting and Breeding
A new monster is born every hour, and bidding lasts for a total of 24 hours. After the bidding period ends, any unclaimed monster will return to the Altar for future purposes. Alternatively, you can proactively summon your own monster by tributing 100 DPET tokens at the Altar. Each monster’s gene decides its unique features and stats, consisting of: Color, Shape, Type, Aura, Mutation, Rarity, HP, Mana, ATK, DEF, INT, CRIT, etc.
You can also create a new generation of monsters by breeding any two monsters. Features and stats will be inherited by the offspring through this method.
Evolve and Trade
Each monster has certain evolution levels and capabilities depending on its rarity. This evolution process ensures a new appearance and enhanced stats. Players can evolve their monsters by feeding them DPET or train and raise to earn experience points.
You can trade on the marketplace to boost your collections. Show off your pet monster army to compete with friends and other players. Bid on an open auction and transfer the ownership of your NFTs!
Season and Events
My DeFi Pet revolves around a core loop of collection, breeding, evolution, battle and trading/socializing. We use the concept of seasons to break down the game progress into smaller parts. This mechanism complements our human tendency for short term rewards. By collecting and maximizing legendary monsters, players can compete to win lucrative prizes. The first season will start with a 100,000 USDT prize, locked by the team in a smart contract. The amount is claimable by sending and burning the exact NFTs stated in the contract. The particular requirements will be decided after launch. Tentatively, the prize requires 10 legendary monsters with a maxed level.
DPET Token and Token Economics
The DPET token is the main in-game currency of My DeFi Pet and an integral part of the game. You can earn DPET tokens by playing the game and completing missions. The tokens are used for breeding/evolving monsters, summoning new eggs, and enter special events. You can vote for new features and settings of the game to earn special rewards through the governance system. By locking DPET tokens for a certain time, you will earn voting power.
More DPET Locked = More voting power = Higher chances to win rewards.
Become part of the game by staking DPET tokens into pools. Different pools will yield different returns such as new items, new eggs, or DPET tokens.
