GreenTrust is a sustainable decentralized finance (SDeFi) application that is capable of allowing users to exchange tokens, participate into pools and earn transaction and staking fees. GreenTrust is conceived as an upgraded version of a cryptocurrency, providing advanced features via a highly generalized programming language based on Binance Smart Chain.
GreenTrust uses blockchain to align incentives of different stakeholders, developers and businesses towards a greener economy goal, while allowing them to participate in open eco-marketplaces of fungible and non-fungible tokens and assets. Furthermore, the upcoming application of zero-knowledge proofs will allow GreenTrust to become a data sharing platform that can overcome conflicting interpretation on critical social issues such as climate change, carbon footprint, biodiversity.
What generates interest about GreenTrust, however, is that it moves far beyond just cryptocurrency. Protocols around decentralized file storage, decentralized computation and decentralized prediction markets, among several other concepts being developed in partnership with GreenTrust, have also the potential to contribute to substantially increase the efficiency of the computational industry, and ultimately reduce its impact on the environment.
Our current long-term vision lies on the ecological nature of our token. The mission of GreenTrust is to contrast the carbon emission of the blockchain technology through several initiatives that aim at reducing polluting sources and industrial footprint.

The following chart represents the number and breakdown of all GNT tokens that are intended to be released into circulation on a monthly basis. Team tokens are locked until no earlier than May 2023, with a 3-year vesting period after that.
TOKEN SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION
• Seed sale tokens comprise 7.8% of the total supply. It will be completed in three rounds between April and November 2021.
• Ordinary and other sale tokens comprise 35,2% of the total supply.
• Team tokens comprise 16.7% of the total supply. Team tokens are locked in tranches released between 2023 and 2028, and have a 3-year vesting period after that.
• Protocol development tokens comprise 18.9% of the total supply.
• Ecosystem development tokens comprise 21.4% of the total supply.
COMMUNITY STRATEGY
Since the beginning of 2021, the GreenTrust founding team has been hosting a weekly 4-hour e-gathering of entrepreneurs in the Bay Area to organically grow their team and community of partners and anchor investors.
The GreenTrust team has focused on a hybrid online/offline strategy to engage its community. The offline and online presences are split between among the following key strategic workstreams in the areas of content, channel, & ecosystem marketing:
• Growing global community - GreenTrust currently has 42 country-specific communities around the world. Local ambassadors manage community channels, online presence, and media outlets (local platforms focused on videos and articles) in local language. The team aims to grow the size of existing community channels and grow to 60 country-specific communities by the end of Q2 2021.
• Focusing on investing in global-reach social media marketing - Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and Reddit mainly, to build a solid community around our aim and to increase the hype.

• Direct Email Engagement - Get more users to join GreenTrust mailing list and newsletter (25,000 current subscribers).
• Engage key opinion leaders - work with industry leaders on online educational sessions to engage their communities and followers about GreenTrust.

How and Where to Buy GreenTrust (GNT) token ?
